PROJECT SUPERVISION

Where economics or labor-relations require the use of in-house personnel for projects, BSS will provide an installation supervisor. This supervisor confirms correct techniques are used and critical dimensions are held to assure proper system performance.

Bulk Systems & Services, Inc. has three levels of guarantee, depending on the degree of involvement with the end-user.

Guarantee #1
Bulk Systems covers the purchase of materials only.

We cover the equipment with a one-year materials and workmanship guarantee. As performance often is dependent on installation and maintenance, product performance is not guaranteed beyond the initial payment terms.

Guarantee #2
Bulk Systems manufactures and installs the equipment or supervises the installation of equipment.

We guarantee the installation and the initial performance of equipment to 100% customer satisfaction. There is a one-year guarantee against defect in materials and workmanship.

Guarantee #3
Bulk Systems manufactures, installs and has a maintenance contract for conveyor systems.

As long as the customer maintains a service relationship with Bulk Systems, the performance of the Bulk Systems manufactured and installed systems is covered by our Absolutely, Positively, No Excuses Guarantee. “Our Engineered Systems will perform to your satisfaction, or you may return the equipment for credit or a cash refund.”

MAINTENANCE MANAGEMENT PROGRAM

Annual inspections and maintenance management programs provide regular-scheduled inspections and maintenance recommendations for the components of your bulk solids conveyor belt systems. Maintenance can be included in this program and performed either routinely, or upon the request of the customer.

*BSS Maintenance Program provides specialized technicians offering the expertise necessary to achieve high operating standards, keeping the system running at maximum productivity.

*Efficient and effective maintenance lowers cost for the total operation. Catastrophic failures can be avoided.

*Specific service requirements for conveyor belt technology systems will depend on systems design, capacity and output requirements, desired level of fugitive dust and spillage abatement, and client approved modifications or upgrades to increase reliability and performance.

*Periodic maintenance inspections with replacement of equipment prior to failure point will ensure long life and minimum spillage.

*A comprehensive survey of the entire belt conveyor system can be performed and provides measured levels of respirable dust, as well as fugitive dust and spillage. The report that is generated provides a document using value grids based on the results of the information gathered. The documentation provides the client with real information that can be used to prioritize needs and eliminate the risk of spending money in the wrong places, or at the very least to determine which area requires the most attention.
